Information Exchange: In Focus

We are delighted to share the latest issue of Information Exchange (IE), which is inspired by our very own ‘information exchange’ – that is, our faculty’s professional learning and development at Melbourne Girls Grammar.

The Theme

As we delve into this edition of IE, we hear from a range of staff members, students and Old Grammarians (including Olympian Sarah Gigante (2018), creative director Paris Thomson (2008) and fashion designer Emily Nolan (2012)) on the topic of focus. We consider the self-discipline, integrity and environmental factors needed to promote and maximise focus, and prioritise attention for success in school, study and life. The trailblazing pathways undertaken by our Grammarians after they leave our red brick walls are a testament to the strong educational foundation we have built throughout our 130-year history.

We hope you enjoy reading this edition of IE and taking a closer look at the unique elements of a Melbourne Girls Grammar education that enable our students and Old Grammarians to flourish. Our Grammarians have the freedom and confidence to uncover their passions and develop the knowledge and tools necessary to select their pathway in life and follow their dreams. Dreams are nothing without focus and determination; and with focus our Grammarians can go anywhere they choose.
